Yes, I’m on a mid Mac Pro Retina 16GB , but it meets the requirements and it’s the same one I use almost daily for FCPx with lots of plugins and moving graphics while having Pixelmator not pro running, email, browser with multiple windows and have NO problems. FCPx and Motion at the same time Logic Pro X – flawless.

Yet, Pixelmator Pro for the simplest tasks without any other graphics app open causes the fans to go into overdrive and the app to lock up. How can Pixelmator Pro running without FCPx be so unbelievable slow that using the rectangle selection tool on a single 3MB image cause frame drops?
